A warm welcome to the 827 members of our Aroma Tours newsletter and a special greeting to all of our new members.

Jim and I are now eagerly looking forward to the beginning of this year's Aroma Tours' adventures and sharing a wonderful time with all of the people joining us this year.

BALI WOMEN'S RETREAT

The Bali Women's Retreat is now booking. This is my favourite program and is set in the most exquisite of tropical settings. Exotic and enticing, Bali is steeped in Hinduism and spiritual practices - a beautiful island paradise abundant with temples and ceremonies which take place daily.

Revitalise your mind and body during this nurturing, nourishing and healing week. If your life is anything at all like mine, busy, busy, busy, you will enjoy the simplicity of the week and simply slow down and take stock of where you are in your life right now.

For any Aussies out there, if you are thinking of joining us in September it would be prudent to book your flight very soon as tickets to Bali from Australia are in great demand already for that time of year.

If you live in the USA or Canada and plan to attend the retreat we can refer you to travel agents who offer discounted airfares to Bali.

Cultural snippet: Last year during the retreat I met a wonderful Australian woman who lives in Bali permanently with her Balinese husband and four children. She shared with me that from birth, Balinese babies are massaged daily with coconut oil and that it is used specifically for cradle cap and eczema conditions. Interestingly, you rarely hear a Balinese baby crying, perhaps because they are carried until they can walk.

TURKEY AND FRANCE BOOKINGS - CLOSING SOON

Bookings for the Turkish Rose and Ancient Sites Tour will close mid-April. If you are still deciding whether to join us please let us know now as we need to book a seat for you on the internal flight in Turkey as soon as possible to ensure you will have a seat.

The Heart of Provence Tour and Aromatherapy Retreat still have places available. Bookings will close at the end of April.

RON GUBA

For those of you who are familiar with the work of Ron Guba from Essential Therapeutics in Australia, you will be pleased to hear that he is coming to the Provence Aromatherapy Retreat this year as our special guest. Ron founded the Aromatic Medicine society in Australia and worked closely with Dr Penoel for many years. Ron has been doing some great research on wound healing with essential oils and has presented at conferences in Australia, USA and UK.

ARRANGING YOUR TRAVEL - *** NEW ***

For those folks traveling from the USA, Canada and Australia we now have several selected travel agents who will be able to help you with your flights and other travel details. Please feel free to contact us at travel@aroma-tours.com if you would like details.

If you prefer to use your own travel consultant we naturally provide you with all of the information necessary to co-ordinate your travel arrangements for our rendezvous point and at the end of our time together.

CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS

We are pleased to announce that we are now able to accept credit card payments without the need for a surcharge - effective immediately.

If you send us your booking using one of our older booking forms, please ignore the credit card surcharge listed.

MUSK - THE EVERLASTING SCENT
==================================
Musk is a most tenacious scent. It can still be detected in 1000 year old mosques that were constructed with perfumed mortar, which when heated by the sun exude a musky scent. Also, in France at Malmaison, where the Empress Josephine lived and enjoyed using perfume lavishly, a musky aroma still lingers despite several repaintings of her beautiful home.
